If you have any issues throughout this process, please refer to our FAQ for additional guidance. For instructions setting up multi-factor authentication, please proceed to step 4.
You will receive an email (see image below) with instructions to access the Stelter Intelligence Center. Click on “Set Up My Account” to start your account creation process. If you cannot find your invitation email, please contact your Stelter client success manager or submit a support request.
For enhanced security, The Stelter Company uses Microsoft services for Single Sign-On (SSO) into the Intelligence Center. If you already have an account associated with a Microsoft service, you will use that same email and password to sign into the Intelligence Center.
How do I know if I already have a Microsoft account?
If you are taken directly to a page to enter your email and/or password (see image) after clicking on the “Set Up My Account” email link, this means Microsoft recognizes your account. You can simply enter the same password you would for services like Microsoft Outlook or Office online*. If you do not use either of those services, your organization may use the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Active Directory) service for your computer login, so your password could also match what you use to sign into your computer. In some cases, you may also have a Microsoft account if another external service you use also utilizes Microsoft SSO.

*Some users will be directed to your own organization’s sign-in page for this process. After completing sign-in, you will be redirected back to the Intelligence Center.
If you do not already have a Microsoft account, you will be sent a code to sign in (see images below).
This will initiate an email from Microsoft to your email address.
Select the “account verification code” from the Microsoft email and copy to use in the next step.
After entering the code, click “Sign in” to proceed to accepting the invitation.
You will be asked to accept the Stelter Intelligence Center permissions. These are standard requirements for Stelter to verify who you are (the profile permission) and that you are authorized to view your organization’s data (the permissions for managing access and logging the activity in the Intelligence Center).
Refer to our FAQ for further details about the permissions.
Click “Accept.”
Because the Stelter Intelligence Center contains your donors’ personally identifiable information, we require multi-factor authentication (MFA) to help protect your donor data. This is in addition to any MFA methods for your organization or personal account.
To choose one of the three MFA options for the Stelter Intelligence Center, click on:
“Download now” or “Next” if you already downloaded the Microsoft Authenticator app. This is an option for smartphone users that is quick and easy to use. Refer to our FAQ for setting up the app.
“I want to use a different authenticator app”. This option is if you prefer to use your own authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, Duo, Authy or others. Your own organization’s IT administrator may need to assist you with issues related to your own authentication app.
“I want to set up a different method” (in the bottom left) to be sent a text message code to your phone. This is typically the easiest method.
If you selected “I want to set up a different method”, you will see a popup that allows you to choose “Phone”. You can then choose “Text me a code” to use your mobile phone or “Call me” if you need to use a non-mobile phone. Fill in your phone number and complete the MFA request:
Congrats! After you have completed your MFA request, you will reach the home page. If you experience any issues during this stage, please reach out to your client success manager or submit a support request.
Finally, bookmark the https://intelligence.stelter.com address, so you can easily visit with one click.
Future visits to the Stelter Intelligence Center will require you to complete your MFA request after logging out. If you acquire a new device in the future, you may have to re-initiate your MFA set-up process for the Stelter Intelligence Center.
If you have any questions about setting up your MFA request again, let us know.
